Episcopal Bishop of Lexington is leaving

The Bishop of Lexington, Stacy Sauls, has accepted the job of Chief Operating Officer for the national Episcopal Church. Bishop Stacy Sauls named church's chief operating officer.

He will be greatly missed by the Diocese of Lexington. Besides his work in creating the widely regarded and emulated Reading Camp and network for small (often rural) parishes, he has also been a huge advocate for gay rights and acceptance in all levels in The Episcopal Church. God speed and God bless. May his ministry and advocacy for inclusion only be heightened by his new role.

I know he has been a supporter of mine.
